Railway Catering Expo 2008 is a brand-new exhibition, which will be staged for the first time in Amsterdam in November 2008.
It is designed to create a 100% focused environment for senior executives and managers who are responsible for the catering operations within rail companies, railway catering contractors and turnkey service suppliers. In order to present real sampling experiences for visitors, exhibitors will be encouraged to create round-the-clock food and beverage sampling sessions, and a timetable of tastings will be drawn up and promoted to all visitors registering to attend. A highlight of the show will be the creation and launch of The Railway Caterer of the Year Awards, which will include categories for Best Hot Snack; Best First-Class Dining and Best New Catering Concept.
